LEVEL 2 EQUINE GROOM APPRENTICESHIP

Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship are offering an opportunity to join their team as a Level 2 Equine Groom apprentice! Located in Totnes, Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship provides equine-assisted therapy and learning to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and adults with support needs supported by therapists, social workers and teachers.

This role would suit someone with an easy going, flexible nature who is open to learning our way of working with horses within a natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement approach, and be sensitive to the vulnerable young people we support. Applicants need to be competent riders and have an independent seat in all 4 paces. This is NOT a high energy, faced paced yard and we only have a small number of horses who are ridden, so the apprenticeship is best suited to someone with a calm nature who just loves everything about horses.
