Join Our Volunteer Team
Becoming a volunteer at Sirona is a rewarding way to support our mission while gaining valuable experience with equine-assisted therapy and animal care. Volunteers play a crucial role in helping us run therapeutic and educational sessions for vulnerable young people, and they’re truly part of our community.
As a thank-you, our volunteers also enjoy a 15% discount at Redpost Equestrian, along with the chance to learn new skills, build friendships, and make a difference in lives. If you’re passionate about the outside, animals and helping others, we’d love to hear from you!
People with good level of horse experience are needed to help with horse care and exercise of ponies. For those interested in learning more about equine-assisted interventions we offer places on our training courses free of charge, participate in our monthly clinical group supervision and to shadow/assist on equine-assisted sessions for the right person.
You’ll also be eligible for free training hosted by Sirona and get exclusive invites to our staff parties throughout to year (and trust me, you don’t want to miss these!).

Trustees:
We are always looking out for trustees – particularly ones with any financial background/knowledge. This is a voluntary role which involves overseeing the operation of the charity.
Horticultural Volunteer:
We are currently looking for a volunteer with horticultural experience to help develop and maintain our green spaces. This role involves planning and caring for our plants, supporting our young people in learning about plants and gardening, and creating a peaceful environment that enhances our therapeutic work. Our edible garden project was a big hit and was very successful in engaging participants so this would be great to continue again when the weather gets warmer. If you have a passion for horticulture and a desire to make a positive impact, we’d love for you to join our team!
