2026 Session Fees Increase

Unfortunately due to rising costs and the additional administrative requirements being placed on us by local authorities, we are sadly having to increase our session fees from 1st January 2026. We have not taken this decision lightly as we understand it is difficult for everyone financially but we have not raised our fees for over 3 years and are no longer able to absorb the increased costs due to the ever increasing financial burden on our charity. However, to avoid this causing any vulnerable young people and families from being unable to continue to access our provision we are keeping our 1hr session fee and Horseworks sessions at the current 2024 rate, and we also continue to offer donation sessions through our bursary scheme. We hope this will help to alleviate any difficulties this increase may cause and we really value your support.

Please contact Sirona to request a copy of our fees (see stage 1 below). All our sessions are subsidised by grants and we also offer a donation-based bursary scheme for anyone who cannot afford full fee (grant dependent). Our fees range from £75 – £195 dependent on session type. We can accept referrals for anyone, minimum age 5 years.

How to make a referral:

Stage 1

Contact Sirona by email or telephone to make an enquiry and request a referral application form. Please complete and return the application form; this will give us information about the person being referred and an idea of where/if we feel any of our services would be of benefit to them. We can only take referrals via our submitted referral application forms.

Stage 2

A member of the team will then be in touch to arrange a short phone call to get further information and to arrange a time for the participant to visit the stables for an informal assessment session.

Stage 3

You will be invited to bring the applicant for a FOC 30-minute informal assessment visit at Sirona; this will enable us to more accurately direct the young person to the session most appropriate for them and to get a feel for the stables and our provision.

Stage 4

If we feel that we can meet the needs of the applicant we will subsequently make an offer of a place for the appropriate session and book the initial block of sessions. There may be a waiting list for the space. If we don’t feel we can meet the needs of the young person we will try and support you to find alternative suitable provision.

We run information sessions at our centre in Dartington, once a term, for those who are interested in making a referral, would like to know more about our provision and meet the horses. To respect the privacy of our participants sapces on our information sessions must be booked. Our next session will be in spring 26 – date to be confirmed. To register your interest in our next referral information session please email [email protected]. Further details will be updated on our events page.
